Fort Lee Movie Theaters

HI, I need help to settle a bet. I remember The Lee Theater in the summer of 1972 played The Godfather for what seemed like an eternity. My husband insists The Linwood Theater played The Godfather. Does anyone remember this? Did both theaters play the same movie at the same time?
