Dr. Seuss, a filmmaker?

I LOVE films. All types of films! Short films, tall films, fat films, skinny films, one film, two films, red films, blue films. But you know what I find sometimes… w hen I go to the theatre down the street, there are no short films playing and it’s always your typical feature films. And you know what, that makes me sad. Really, really sad. So one day I decided to take some action. No, I did not see a therapist. However, I did do some research. And you know what I found? There is a place out there, in this cold, hard world, where all those really awesome indie and short films could be displayed next to those of glitzy Hollywood! I just heard that the CMJ 2007 Film Festival is now accepting submissions for short films (under 3 minutes) this year AND they extended their deadline for feature films! Finally, filmmakers who create all types of films have a place where they can showcase their work to the masses. So filmmakers, what are you waiting for!?
