'THE RIVOLI REBORN' a short documentary will receive a special screening at the 1st Annual Gala event taking place Oct. 13th 2007.

'THE RIVOLI REBORN' - a short documentary which explores the past glory of the famous Rivoli Theater located in downtown Rutherford New Jersey has just been launched to a global audience, ahead of the 1st Annual GALA which takes place at the Williams Center for The Arts, October 13th, 2007.
'THE RIVOLI REBORN' is a celebration of the history of the old Rivoli Theater, which was damaged in a fire in 1977 but which rose from the ashes, amidst various controversial plans including the proposal to demolish the old theater and build a car park in its place. The documentary also sheds light on Pulitzer Prize-winning poet William Carlos Williams, who lived and worked in Rutherford. The town is now a 'literary landmark' due to the works and history of the famous poet.
The launch of the short 20-minute documentary coincides with the 1st Annual GALA taking place October 13th and featuring some of the area's finest talent.
