Harry....Thanks; Just got notification of your message....My memory is also clouded by the years, but I remember it was on a Sunday that the fire started; I clearly remember the sirens. My uncle Tom who was visiting with his son were on their way home after dinner and passed by the fire and said the flames were coming thru the roof....I passed by the place on my way to & from school at Our Lady of Fatima and even by Monday afternoon the volunteer firemen were hosing the place down...After that it was an empty field.....How long did you live in Fort Lee? My Dad's folks were Old timers when I was Adopted in 1950....the Broshahan family had a store on the corner of Main & Hudson streets - we lived on Linwood Ave....We moved to Wayne, NJ in 1961 but my Dad kept his store, Deal TV, and made the commute until he sold the property in 1973...I relocated to Florida in '79 and now live in West Palm Beach.....
