Hello, all.
Just a reminder that the Big Screen Classics 35mm film series is ongoing at the Galaxy Theatre in Guttenberg, NJ. This Thursday, October 31, we are presenting THE PHAINTOM OF THE OPERA. Regarded by many as the greatest of all silent horror films, this is the timeless tale of Erik, the horribly disfigured composer who leads a menacing existence in the catacombs and dungeons beneath the Paris Opera. Lon Chaney stars. The Galaxy is proud to present this 1925 silent film classic with live Pipe Organ accompaniment by Jeff Barker on the Galaxy’s vintage Kimball Theatre Organ. Presented in 35mm with live accompaniment on Halloween night, Thursday, October 31st, at 8pm.
Coming up:
November 4 - MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
November 11 - THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES
November 21 - THE GODFATHER - THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY
November 29 - MIARACLE ON 34th STREET - a special matinee presentation.Remember that the Fort Lee Film Commission is the co-producer of this special series and you want to be sure to show your support. All films are presented in 35mm in the Galaxy's largest auditorium on big screen - the way they were meant to be seen!
