Hi!
I'm completing research for a biography of early film actress Dorothy Gibson (1889-1946), a star with Eclair American Studios at Fort Lee (1911-12). Gibson, who was also well known as a Harrison Fisher model and a survivor of the Titanic disaster, was later the wife of movie mogul Jules Brulatour.
I am addressing a separate request to the Fort Lee Film Commission regarding this project but would like to invite members of this forum to share information about (or images of) Gibson - and/or Fort Lee during the period of her association with Eclair. I'm happy to provide appropriate acknowledgment to contributors.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Best wishes,
Randy
