Ridgefield/Cliffside Studio?

Hello.
I grew up in cliffside park in the 50's and 60's. There was a large brick building, abandoned and heavily wooded on the cliff facing west. It was reputed to be a movie studio or a movie location in the silent film era. It was close to a furniture store called the Maple House. I believe it was Bergen Boulevard and Lafayette Avenue, on the northwest parcel of land. Any ideas on this one? thanks
