Hi:

Hoping I can get some suggestions regarding my research.

Thomas Mead was manager of the Universal Newsreel Dept., out of NYC, in the fifties. He produced a number of shorts that were under the series title "Variety View." I believe these shorts were planned, financed and organized out of the NYC offices, rather than CA.

Arthur Cohen was a director who often worked with Mead.

I'm researching an unreleased movie short I believe Mead & Cohen were involved with in 1955.

I'm looking for the business files for the Universal NYC Newsreel offices...a papertrail that can tell me what projects were in production and what projects were up for consideration.

Anyone have any idea if files of this type are available somewhere?
