Mr. Koszarski:
Duirng last weekend's San Roco festival, one of your colleagues suggested you might have the answer to the following question:
Do you know the name of the old black and white film that was a fairly short film that was a story of a captured soldier during the Civil War. This character was about to be hanged and the entire story was of his final thoughts (Dreamscape) before he actually hanged.
The time in which the film took place until the subject hanged was no more than one minute.
The dreamscape featured:
1) His dream of escape
2) His love
3) His lifeAnd, then it was over. What I can't remember, is the name of the film. I think it is remarkable because I do not believe any film prior to that time had reduced an entire story to a dream with actual elapsed time from start to finish only seconds.
Please email me at: craigkru@aol.com if you can help identify this film.
Thanks.
